The Most Exclusive Harley Davidson Icons Collection Arrives

One of the most iconic brands on two wheels is renewed... but with its sights set on another time. And so comes the Harley-Davidson Icons Collection: the most exclusive Harleys in history?

It is a retro limited series to look to the future: the launch of one or two motorcycles a year, with a single print run for each model, numbered and with a certificate of authenticity, which will never be resumed or repeated. If you need to upgrade your Harley motorcycles, please check the collections of led headlights for Harley Davidson, a full collection of Harley headlights for your choice.

The philosophy in each of them will be to celebrate American culture, either revisiting classic Harley-Davidson designs or exploring ideas for the future of motorcycle styling.

"With The Hardwire, we are committed to introducing a series of motorcycles in line with our strategy to increase desire and drive the legacy of Harley-Davidson," explains Jochen Zeitz, president and CEO of Harley-Davidson. "With this in mind, I'm proud to introduce our new limited-production Icons Collection, a series of extraordinary motorcycle adaptations that look back to our storied past and bright future."

The first bike in the collection

The first in this exclusive collection will be the retro-classic Harley-Davidson Electra Glide Revival. It will consist of a limited series of 1,500 copies, which will reach dealers at the end of April, with a retail price of 34,500 euros.

It's inspired by the 1969 Electra Glide, the first Harley-Davidson motorcycle available with an accessory batwing fairing. This fairing became an icon - often imitated - of the Harley-Davidson style and has transcended until today. In 1969, the fairing and panniers were only offered in white molded fiberglass, and the Electra Glide Revival replicates that look with a Birch White painted finish. Vintage-inspired tank medallion and Electra Glide script on the front fender complete the package, the manufacturer explains.

Additionally, the bike sports a solo saddle with a black and white cover and chrome rail, mounted on an adjustable coil spring and shock absorber (a nod to 1960s Harley-Davidson FL models and a functional feature that adds rider comfort) ), chrome steel spoked wheels, wide whitewall tires, bright accents on the front fender and panniers, Ventilator air cleaner cover, fork covers and auxiliary lights.

And in case it's not clear to you that the bikes in the Harley-Davidson Icons Collection may be some of the most exclusive Harleys in history, the Electra Glide Revival will also be offered in a unique color scheme inspired by the original look of the Harley-Davidson. 1969: Hi-Fi Blue and Black Denim bicolor fuel tank bisected with Birch White stripe, with Hi-Fi Blue paint on fenders and side panels.

"We live in a very dynamic time, each of us experiences constant change," says Brad Richards, vice president of Styling and Design for Harley-Davidson. "The Electra Glide Revival model is an oasis in this daily turbulence, a way to reconnect with the fundamental Harley-Davidson DNA that created the Grand American Touring."

The foundation of the Electra Glide Revival model is the single-beam Harley-Davidson Touring chassis, with a rigid backbone to support the weight of luggage and handle the full power of the current engine. The entire cycle part is designed for long journeys. A single knob hydraulically adjusts the preload of the emulsion technology rear shocks for optimal ride and control. The 49mm fork with dual-valve bending suspension technology offers linear damping characteristics for a smooth ride, says Harley.

The classic Bat Wing fairing features a tall, clear windshield and a Splitstream vent that helps reduce turbulence in the rider's head area. Electronic cruise control allows you to maintain a constant speed for greater comfort on long trips, while a halogen headlamp and incandescent auxiliary lamps provide better lighting and maintain the style of always.
