2021 is a very special year for Jeep, as it marks the 80th anniversary of its creation as a manufacturer. He leaves behind eight decades as a builder of 4x4 vehicles. And to celebrate it, it launches the special Jeep '80th Anniversary' editions for the Renegade, Compass and Wrangler models. As a novelty for this new stage in the company, the brand launches Jeep Wave, the new customer loyalty program.

It all started in 1941 with the legendary Willys MB, going through different models over the years until reaching a complete range of SUV vehicles and off-road models from different segments. In Europe, 80th anniversary celebrations will take place throughout 2021, with specific events for customers and brand enthusiasts.
However, the star of this 2021 within the Jeep range will be the special '80th Anniversary' series, commemorative versions available in the Spanish market for the Renegade (already available at dealers), Compass and Wrangler models (available from spring). . These special editions feature a multitude of unique details, are based on the best-selling variant of each model, and offer more safety features and technology as standard.
Common to all three special models will be the '80th Anniversary' logo embellished with Granite Crystal accents, diamond-pattern cloth or black leather seats, tungsten-colored stitching and the special series logo; Gloss black interior accents and logo tag on seats and floor mats. Specific alloy wheels complete the exterior look.
All of them will be available with internal combustion engines or plug-in hybrid systems, advanced safety systems and technologies that enhance Jeep's 4x4 capability. In the technological section, the 8.4 and 10.1-inch touch screens, the DAB digital radio, the browser with smartphone integration and the Uconnect Services, the Full LED pack and the new home screen of the infotainment system that looks the message “Since 1941”.
More specifically, the Jeep Renegade '80th Anniversary' sports 18-inch alloy wheels and commemorative logos. Tinted windows and Jeep jl oem led headlights are also standard, as are dark gray fabric seats with diamond pattern and contrasting stitching. Black headlining and logoed Berber floor mats match the 8.4-inch infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and digital radio.
On a mechanical level, the special edition Jeep Renegade is available with the 130 hp 1.6 MultiJet II diesel engine with a six-speed manual gearbox and front-wheel drive. It can also be equipped with the 120 CV 1.0 three-cylinder block or the 150 CV 1.3-liter four-cylinder version, the first with a manual transmission and the second with a dual-clutch automatic transmission. Finally, the plug-in hybrid version combines a 1.3-liter gasoline engine and an electric drive with a combined power of 190 HP and a six-speed automatic transmission.
In the case of the Jeep Wrangler '80th Anniversary', in addition to the elements common to the entire special series, it adds metallic Neutral Gray front and fog lights, same fitment with led lights For 2018 Jeep Wrangler 18-inch two-tone alloy wheels, leather upholstery with contrasting stitching, Uconnect system 8.4-inch with navigation, 7-inch digital instrument cluster and Alpine sound system with nine speakers. The new Jeep Compass will initially be available in the Spanish market with this special commemorative edition, which features a multitude of exterior details, logos, 18-inch alloy wheels, a completely new interior, gasoline, diesel and plug-in hybrid engines and the most advanced safety systems and driving assistance.
